An exciting, cutting edge brand in leading technology for autonomous distance control, data management for moving vehicles are looking for Customer Support Technicians to join their global team in Buckingham, Bucks. Our client designs and manufactures electronic systems to measure, record, display, analyse and simulate data from moving vehicles.

This role involves the provision of technical support of our products by providing telephone, e-mail and Skype-based responses to our global customer base and network of distributors
Applicants must be able to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills and self-motivation, the ability to work with minimum supervision as well as the ability to multi-task.
Essential requirements for this role:
  • Has worked in the OEM automotive or Motorsport industries and has had some experience of vehicle data analysis, vehicle testing or race data analysis/telemetry
  • A clear, concise writing technique and a polite telephone manner
  • Customer service experience
  • Ability to demonstrate a logical approach to troubleshooting
  • A positive attitude and good team working skills
  • Full clean UK driving licence.
  • The potential and ability to understand the product on a very technical level. Technical customer service experience demonstrated through a clear, concise writing technique and a polite telephone manner A level of technical competency.
  • This is not an IT support role, so candidates coming from pure tech support backgrounds would not be suitable
One of more of the following would also be useful:
  • An understanding of vehicle CAN and/or GPS data
  • Technology testing experience
  • Basic electronics knowledge
Working hours:
9-5.30, Mon-Fri
Team set up:
Reporting to Support Manager, and working alongside 3 other CS Technicians and liaising with other departments.

Salary and Benefits:
For the right candidate with relevant experience, this role will pay up to £28,000 per annum basic salary with a profit-related bonus £2,000 per annum. Benefits include: Pension, Parking, Childcare
