Provincial Sales Manager

Our client is a leading national wine and spirit agency with a host of recognizable world-wide brands.  They take an entrepreneurial approach to business and growth combined with win-win customer-first attitude.

They are presently seeking a ONTARIO SALES MANAGER  – who has the knowledge and experience from at least 5-7 years in the beverage/alcohol industry

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:  
  • Working to establish annual Ontario sales and budget objectives
  • Responsible for the hiring, training, development, motivating and coaching of all members of the Ontario sales team
  • Working internally & cross-functionally with marketing, finance, insights to create strategies behind pricing programs, promotional support, new listings, merchandising programs, and product initiatives.
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with the company's largest key customers; LCBO and grocery are key
  • Establishes measurable performance metrics and conducts ongoing business reviews to ensure accountability.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Substantial management experience in the beverage alcohol industry is a must
  • Established relationships with LCBO and grocery are a strong asset
  • Exemplary people management and leadership with a strong business acumen
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to turn analysis into effective strategies - fact based selling approach
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt; maintain focus and a high degree of urgency
  • Be positive, energetic and comfortable in an open, dynamic and collaborative company
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Possess post-secondary education, preferably in business.
