Originally started by craftspeople in Vancouver decades ago to provide Western Canada with high-quality millwork products, they have long since grown into a world-class supplier of a well-known name brand product representing superior quality and extraordinary value. Today, their product can be found in homes throughout Canada and the United States. With continued growth, our client is adding a Business Development Manager to ensure their vison and growth continue. 
 
Specific Responsibilities Include: 
  • Responsible for the overall development and performance of the sales department and key accounts
  • Recruit, develop and mentor Business Development Representatives
  • Execution of corporate programs, policies and procedure creation
  • Create & achieve sales and growth targets while controlling sales expenses
  • Implement competitive pricing, promotions, discounts and margin control
  • Basic customer analytics and reports & establish department goals & targets
What We’re Looking For Includes:   
  • Degree in Business or Marketing or equivalent body of experience
  • Minimum 3+ years experience in sales management
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with solid customer service focus
  • Organization skills along with strong negotiating abilities
  • Analytical mindset coupled with demonstrated leadership
  • Superior communication skills and the ability to influence customer decisions
  • Self motivated hands on type that enjoys a broad range of activities
  • Frequent travel required
