The HR Director will be responsible for the performance of all the functions within the department and will be challenged to drive a culture of excellence. You will be required to maintain and establish relationships with relevant external parties, to manage and implement an effective talent strategy with a continued focus on increasing the nationalization rate.   • Promote an environment of accountability with clear and defined employee responsibilities and accountabilities
  • Direct and coach the team to enhance the department’s performance while ensuring that staff are receiving the required training
  • Provide direction for the development of adequate policies and processes for the function to maintain efficient operational excellence in order to achieve the organisations strategic goals
  • Develop functional objectives, annual business plans and budgets that are aligned to the organisations strategic goals and ensure the appropriate mechanisms, capabilities, and capacity levels are in place to achieve them
  • Support the management reporting process by providing senior management with regular updates on the function’s operational and/or financial performance
  • Develop and promote an environment of cross-functional collaboration
  • Plan, organize, and direct all labour related activities within the organization
  • Develop and supervise employee performance management systems
  • Analyse and modify, in conjunction with the remuneration committee, compensation and benefits policies to establish competitive programs and ensure compliance with legal requirements
  • Monitor new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward organizational objectives
  • Ensure all new employees are on-boarded in an efficient and timely fashion (including processing of visas, Iqamas, etc.)
  • Review and approve training and career development programs
  • Provide advice to upper management in terms of Labour law
  • Supervise and control the creation of new positions and job descriptionS
  • Maintain government relations and ensure a healthy relationship with Labour office
  • Ensure that the organization meets the required nationalization rate, and/or the organisations target
  • Monitor and ensure the accuracy of all employees’ data and information on the system including but not limited to number and type of staff, employee location, date of joining, training etc…
  • Oversee and negotiate contracts for outsourced Labour (including; number of staff, role, salary, and contract terms etc…) based on the organization needs
  • Monitor and manage labour costs by ensuring optimum labour counts
  • Manage and direct all recruitment activities and ensures the screening and interviewing processes are carried out in accordance to company’s standards
  • Oversee employees’ performance evaluation process, carry out disciplinary meetings, and recommends salary adjustments, rewards and promotions based on performance appraisals
  • Must be a Saudi national
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Management or relevant equivalent qualification
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive HR experience
  • Experience within FMCG is preferred
  • Fluent in English and Arabic
