Food People are currently searching for a Packaging Sales Director to join a global market leader for their expanding team based in Dubai, UAE.
You must be a highly customer-oriented individual who’s aim is to ensure customer satisfaction through sales and product solutions. You must be experienced in all aspects of packaging sales within the FMCG industry and has strong exposure to the MEA market.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responsible for the entire sales life cycle activity within the FMCG sector
  • Develop sales channels and expand to other regions and markets
  • Perform both sales and marketing activities to increase the company's overall market share in the region
  • Determine annual gross profit plans by implementing marketing strategies
  • Analyse current and upcoming market trends and results including supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors
  • Establish sales objectives through forecasting and developing annual sales quotas
  • Project expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products
  • Look after the sales volume, product details and selling price
  • Be the subject matter expert by maintaining professional and technical knowledge through relevant workshops, industry publications, and networking
  • Full commercial acumen in areas of business development, market development, new customer acquisition, contract negotiation, and customer service
  • Provide excellent customer service to new and existing clients
  • Ability to influence or lead a team to meet or exceed their individual/group potential
  • Management of the sales team under the packaging department
  • Develop, execute and analise the annual business plan for the department in relation to the business needs and status
  • Work closely with the Regional Managing Director
  • Ability to understand and create business cases
  • Complete understanding of full sales and product cycle and value cost from raw materials, production, manpower, logistics, to delivery.
KEY INGREDIENTS
  • Engineering or Business related Degree, Masters Degree is a plus
  • Profound knowledge of products and technologies used in the packaging industry
  • Existing market and network within FMCG
  • Language skills: Fluent in English and Arabic
  • Goal-oriented and independent method of working
  • Powerful communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage a team and work independently towards a common goal
  • Strong mentoring skills
  • Proven success in handling western brands and global key accounts
  • Willingness to travel regularly within the Middle East and Africa region.
