Maintenance Electrical/Electrician Technician to maintain electrical/electronic equipment in the plant facility.

Work Shifts: 1st Shift Available & 2nd + $1.00/hr. Shift Differential

Summary:
 
Maintains all of the electrical/electronic equipment in the plant facility. This includes troubleshooting, installing, repairing, and general servicing of various machinery.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Experience with Siemens/Allen Bradley PLC's
  • Have a strong knowledge of electronic controls and drives.
  • Test, tune, troubleshoot, and program a wide variety of variable frequency drives.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and install all kinds of electrical distribution equipment, such as transformers, motors, breakers, starter, and switches.
  • Troubleshoot an inoperable machine or piece of equipment; work may involve installing, servicing, replacing, and/or repairing any machine or equipment plant-wide, with or without schematics.
  • Calibrate electronic and pneumatic instruments.
  • Also repair of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
  • Locate areas of electrical trouble by using amp meter, multi-meters, or megger.
  • Replace electrical equipment in electric motors and controllers.
  • Test, energize, and repair different types of circuits.
  • Ability to interpret, troubleshoot and occasionally modify PLC programs.
  • Complete PMs as required.
  • Ability to work day or night shift, as needed.
  • Have a clear understanding of the LOTO policy
Education/Work Experience:
  • High School Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Industrial Electronics or equivalent
  • Six Sigma Certification (Black or Green) preferred, not required
  • 2+ years of manufacturing experience in electronics maintenance or reliability role
  • Experience with VFD drives, PLCs, 480 volt three phase, valve calibration, PID loops, valve calibration, and troubleshooting strongly preferred
  • Paper mill or nonwoven experience a plus
