SUMMARY
 
Our client is a rapidly growing comprehensive IT Infrastructure group that offers technology and services to a broad range of customers from Health Care, Manufacturing, Retail, Distribution, and many other areas of business. With decades of combined voice and data experience, we help our customers make wise business decisions each and every day. We are looking for a Network Administrator whose work includes the administration and continual support of customer’s enterprise systems and systems infrastructures. This includes daily issue resolution, regular maintenance work and project work.
 
 
DUTIES 
  • Ability to administer diverse systems environments; and working to ensure the health of the systems and remediating any issues or problems that affect the quality of service to our customers
  • Ability to work in a team based environment and work with other technicians on problem resolution.
  • Customer service oriented and capable of participating in project meetings with technical and non-technical customers
  • Strong oral and written communication, organization, problem solving, critical thinking skills; and the ability to work with minimum direct supervision, is required.
  • Quickly learn new software products, work with end-users to resolve issues, and assist them in using software
  • Troubleshoot hardware problems on multiple makes and models of desktop computers and servers
  • Working with network devices including: Cisco Routers, Cisco Switches, Network Firewalls, Wireless Access Points
  • Experience with VMware environments
  • Ability to administer and troubleshoot: Microsoft Server 2k/2k3/2k8/2k12
  • Work with end-users on the phone to troubleshoot problems remotely
  • Assist in the on-call rotation (1 week out of 14)
  • Provide onsite support for remote offices

REQUIREMENTS
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 4+ years of experience in Network Administration
  • 3+ years working with Cisco networking equipment and strong understanding of Cisco IOS
  • Familiarity with Cisco 2960, 3650 switches
  • Familiarity with Cisco 1800, 1900. 2900 routers
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP networking
  • Certifications (CCENT, CCNP, CCNA, a plus but not required)
