The Account Executive for Enterprise Sales is an expert who understands the industries they support and the challenges facing our customers. They provides thought leadership in driving solutions that solve those problems and positions all parties for success by building and maintaining effective long-term relationships with a select group of major customers.
The ideal candidate thrives in an entrepreneurial environment and is passionate about the data technology space acting as a subject matter expert to customers in the industries that we support including Financial Services, Fintech, Automotive, Mortgage, Retail, Digital Marketing, and Commercial businesses.
What You’ll Do
  • Establish, maintain and manage key customer relationships
  • Assess the customer’s needs and leverage appropriate expertise/solutions for profitable sales
  • Lead sales efforts for targeted customers
  • Work seamlessly across cross-functional team in order to smoothly engage and coordinate all functional areas as required
  • Manage negotiations, sales pipeline, pricing and customer contracts
  • Represent the company at key customer meetings or customer sponsored events
 Work with the product organization to provide Voice of Customer in order to influence innovations solutions 
  • Demonstrate a high level of engagement with customers and internal account teams as well as a strong sense of urgency
  • Drive incremental year-over-year growth while protecting existing business
  • Proactively engage with customers on a consultative basis to learn its business, anticipate its needs and propose/deliver innovative Equifax solutions
  • As a necessary part of the role, the AE is particularly proficient in the definition and demonstration of tangible ROI
  • Engage at all levels within our customer organizations and is responsible for the creation and execution of sales strategies that drive profitable growth within the assigned customer accounts
  • 5-7 years of experience in a customer facing, strategic sales role responsible for selling a suite of data-based products and/or solutions
  • Bachelors degree in related field
  • You have an established network within a designated industry or vertical including financial services, brokerage firms, automotive, mortgage, credit unions, Fintech, wealth management, healthcare, commercial business, and/or retail
  • Thorough understanding of the value of data and available capabilities
  • Ability to drive urgency in the sales cycle and the execution of solution strategies with exceptional ability to create and manage a robust pipeline
  • Proven experience in driving significant revenue growth with highly complex customers
  • Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team orientation environment
  • Strong understanding of complex accounts and ability to partner and influence the agendas of multiple customer stakeholders
  • Experience demonstrating innovation, with an understanding of credit, risk and marketing solutions 
  • Knowledge of existing and emerging regulatory/compliance requirements, including the ability to leverage that knowledge to proactively drive sales
  • Superior skills and ability to present and communicate effectively with c-level executives
  • Proven sales/solution selling experience, including the ability to diagnose the impact of trends, customer data and MBOs and translate that into rapid sales
  • Customer-centric and adept at understanding and influencing decision making across complex financial institutions
  • Experience working with senior-level account employees, including an ability to immediately establish credibility with executives and build/maintain those relationships
  • Demonstrate high level of business acumen and apply a thorough understanding of the customer’s culture, business, organization, strategy and financial position
  • Ability to understand business problems and provide guidance on strategies which will produce winning solutions
