Electronic Technician (Force Protection)

Provide AFLCMC/HNC, Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division (CCSD) non-personal services for logistics and technical support. As an electronics technician you will utilize a broad knowledge of electronic equipment principles, techniques, and a thorough knowledge of digital and analog circuitry; You will be responsible for providing component diagnostics, repair and functional check out for electronic assets and stock management for all bench stock type items needed for component repair.

 AFLCMC/HNC is a one-of-a-kind Air Force activity operating from a single geographic location that provides life-cycle management for information assurance and other critical systems. The Division also sustains AF/DoD national force protection and intelligence systems required by the nation to mobilize, deploy, support, and sustain operations. The programs requiring product support are: COMSEC Products, Force Protect (FP), Weapons Storage Security System (WS3), and Technical Applications Products (TAP), Bounty Hunter (BH), COMSEC Maintenance and Production Support Management Office. 

- Troubleshoot/repair Force Protection equipment to the component level
- Make condemnation decisions on unserviceable equipment as required
- Bench test/perform operational assessments of Force Protection equipment before returning to serviceable stock      - Provide input to configuration control documents as requested by system engineers or PMs
- Provide suggested changes to engineering drawings, providing suggested changes to field/depot level technical orders
- Provide recommendations for component form/fit/function changes to systems
- When directed by CCSD, travel to sites to provide assistance or make depot level repairs,
- Provide life-cycle logistics advice to CCSD (based on technical knowledge and research, for spares and obsolescence decisions)

- TS/SCI Security Clearance
- Possess necessary skills and qualifications to fully complete the required tasks
- Be fully functional in their positions with a minimal amount of organizational mission and culture training required
