Responsible for overseeing various operational functions in the loan purchase process

What you will do:
The successful candidate will also be responsible for the following:
  • Leads capacity planning for the pre-purchase review production teams in alignment with established production and financial goals.
  • Ensures that the portfolio and operational risk are mitigated according to company standards.
  • Directly manages Operations Management roles. Attracts, retains and motivates the team to achieve management business objectives. Has a strict discipline in place to manage staffing to capacity, responding quickly and effectively to all market changes.
  • Has a broad and deep understanding of the pre-purchase review process and is responsible for identifying and implementing process improvement initiatives aligned to our key drivers
  • Works with internal and external business partners, ensuring efficient and effective business operations from an organization-wide perspective.
  • Builds a proactive and organized culture to consistently move the business forward as needed.
  • Performs all other miscellaneous responsibilities and duties as assigned.
 
 
What you will need:
  • Minimum 7+ years of management experience, including minimum 3 years of managing multiple teams
  • Proven leadership ability.
  • Experience running mortgage operations and/or different lending businesses.
  • Possesses a thorough understanding and knowledge of mortgage banking
  • Knowledgeable about federal regulations and laws governing the mortgage business
  • Understanding and knowledge of technology which supports mortgage banking, including loan originations systems and core systems.
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Strong analytical and financial skills.
