As the main point of contact for payroll processes domestic & globally, guiding information flow in support of HR, Payroll & finance teams.

  • BS in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related discipline
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification
  • Prior Experience with Workday Software, ADP Workforce Now or ADP Celergo
Education and Experience:
  • BS in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related discipline
  • 2+ years relevant work experience in Global payroll functions both in-house and with third-party payroll providers; preferred 4+ years of experience.
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification
  • Prior Experience with Workday Software, ADP Workforce Now or ADP Celergo and managing a Global Payroll Aggregator/ outsourced vendor experience
 Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
  • Advanced understanding of HR processes and data.
  • Proficiency and knowledge of Workday HRIS. ADP Workforce Now or ADP Celergo experience is strongly desired.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience with payroll and benefits administration.
  • Ability to work discreetly with confidential information.
  • Provide excellent customer service and direction for timely and accurate payroll operations.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong service-oriented approach and a high sense of urgency are critical
Responsibilities:
  • Guide global operations administration to manage information flow in support of human resources, payroll, and finance teams; Maintain current documentation for all International payroll procedures
  • Champion process improvement, modifications, updates and enhancements in technology and vendor applications to ensure optimal performance in the delivery of payroll services
  • Process semi-monthly and monthly payrolls for 1200+ employees (including annual discretionary bonus payroll) in the US and Canada, as well as our international locations in Europe and EMEA
  • Primary contact with international payroll service providers
  • Calculate various payroll computations including overtime, hourly, vacation balances, prorated pay, retro pay, shift differentials, etc.
  • Complete global year-end tax processes, amendments, and US ACA statements
  • Process changes in our Workday HRIS system including new hire on-boarding paperwork, department transfers, salary changes, terminations, deduction and earnings changes and other payroll/benefit changes
  • Calculate final payroll liabilities for accounting and download data for general ledger
  • Process post-payroll benefit funding reports and audits
  • Work with federal, state and local tax agencies to ensure filing compliance, respond to notices and maintain good account standing
  • Institute, follow and audit tight process controls to ensure data integrity and minimize errors
  • Continuously implement process improvements to ensure accuracy and efficiency
  • Manage unemployment claims, wage garnishments and employment verification
  • Ensure compliance with government and tax regulations and process labor statistic filings
  • Act as the main point of contact for employee questions regarding payroll in all offices
  • Perform other HR and Payroll related projects and duties as assigned
