JOB BRIEF:
The Hire Standard is hiring for a full-time Executive Operations Assistant for a health care tech company based in San Francisco. The Executive Operations Assistant will lead and own logistics and operations for the CEO. In this catch-all role, you will work diligently to solve complex business problems and logistical roadblocks to help the firm run as smoothly as possible while providing essential support to its CEO. This is a great opportunity to collaborate with a diverse range of hardworking people on a daily basis.

ROLE OBJECTIVE:
  • You will be joining a small, growing, seasoned team on the ground floor and working closely with our team internally, our advisors, and our external partners.
  • You will be expected to work seamlessly and collaboratively with all parties involved in a variety of projects that help the firm run as smoothly as possible. 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • CEO Support: Own the day-to-day operations of the CEO including but not limited to calendar management, interviews, and meeting preparation. (50%)
  • Company Support: Own the operations and logistics of the firm including but not limited to documentation and filing for compliance, planning company events, and office managing in-person and remote coworking spaces.(30%)
  • Misc Projects: Provide support on other recurring and ad-hoc projects (such as board meetings and press events) (20%)
  • Manage complex calendar scheduling with team members, customers, candidates, investors, and others
  • Draft and review internal and external communications for the firm’s CEO
  • Attend company and executive team meetings, track agenda, and keep notes
  • Proactively ensure that CEO meetings are efficient
  • Coordinate with the executive team and CEO recruiting efforts (with the help of recruiting coordinators)
  • Arrange business travel for executives and for team meetups
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 3+ years of experience in an executive operation or assistant position
  • High attention to detail and a natural tendency to prioritize
  • Experience at an early-stage start-up (bio/healthcare tech a huge plus!)
  • Current location or relocation open to San Francisco, CA
  • A valid U.S. Driver’s License and own transportation
  • Ability to lift 15 pounds without assistance
  • Low ego and high EQ: no job is too small
