JOB BRIEF:
The Hire Standard is looking for a Talent Acquisition Partner for a rapidly growing foodtech company in San Francisco. The Talent Acquisition Partner is a motivated self-starter and will manage the principal’s full-cycle recruiting process. This role will work closely and in collaboration with the Sr. Talent Business Partner to attract, source, and engage candidates that meet both technical and cultural needs for positions spanning all levels and departments of the organization.  

ROLE OBJECTIVE:
  • This is a true full-cycle recruiter role. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in joining a growing startup and helping build an amazing team from the ground up. It is great for someone who likes to work on a mix of roles.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting process for the multi-disciplinary team at HQ, collaborate on hiring efforts for the Manufacturing Team, support global hiring needs as needed in collaboration with the teams in Asia and Europe; 
  • Learn about the organization’s mission, business model, and culture to understand the needs of the organization; promote the image and what the company is about to candidates and external service providers; 
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand the technical needs of approved headcount; 
  • Partner with Sr. Talent Business Partner to guide hiring manager on the appropriate level and type of experience needed for positions; 
  • Review, revise/or craft job descriptions that are engaging and accurately capture targeted candidate profile; 
  • Identify and make recommendations for the most effective methods for recruiting and attracting candidates; passively source candidates as needed; 
  • Draft recruitment advertisements, posts/or places ads in the most effective digital and/or print media for respective positions; 
  • Partner with hiring managers and Sr. Talent Business Partner to align on appropriate interview workflow for positions; drive accountability for the hiring manager and interview panel responsibilities; 
  • Partner with the hiring manager to screen and review resumes; conduct initial phone screens to assess qualifications and educate candidates on our business and organization as they engage in the interview process; 
  • Drive white-glove candidate experience with timely and thoughtful candidate communication and follow up; 
  • Collaborate with Sr. Talent Business Partner on enhancing candidate experience and internal recruiting process; 
  • Partner with People Operations to automate and enhance Applicant Tracking System functionality; 
  • Provide HR coordinator with logistical direction on scheduling position kick-offs, pre-briefs, debriefs, and of course interviews; provide back-up and scheduling as needed; 
  • Support additional People Team projects and initiatives as needed.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience; 
  • 4+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in biopharma, food & beverage, or relevant industry with a track record of closing high-quality candidates; 
  • Experience or familiarity with recruiting in Asia and Europe, a plus! 
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills – to attract a diverse range of candidates and partner with our cross-functional stakeholders; 
  • Thorough understanding of recruiting methods and best practices, as well as applicable policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations; 
  • Creative thinker and the ability to go above and beyond to make every candidate experience is exceptional; 
  • Passionate about the company’s mission, products, and culture; 
  • Experience with external and internal recruiting tools including LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and applicant tracking software(s), Paycom a plus! 
  • Outlook and scheduling guru; experience using Microsoft Teams, a plus!
