Position Overview
This is a senior account manager position with the local Mauritius office. The incumbent will be responsible for securing best in class client relationship while at the same time meeting divisional goals in terms of revenue and collections. In addition, the incumbent will be responsible for people management, internal governance and risk management.

 
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Provide for company invoicing to client entities;
  • Entering initial data and updating of data in database;
  • Uploading document in document management system;
  • Arrange for CGS internal financial matters between CGS office and  Finance Team(s);
  • Act as single contact between CGS office and other SSCs;
  • Provide assistance to CGS office on AEOI;
  • Provide assistance to CGS offices on KYC/AML reviews, transaction monitoring and Risk Management
  • Monitoring and handling C&T office Accounts Receivables.
  • Prepare and implement comprehensive business plans to facilitate achievement by planning cost-effective operations and market development activities
  • Ensure company policies and legal guidelines are communicated all the way from the top down in the company and that they are followed at all times
  • Delegate responsibilities and supervise the work of executives providing guidance and motivation to drive maximum performance
  • Manage client relationships across all business lines being serviced in the office
  • Preparation of client service plans including; assessing client servicing needs, securing adequate resources to service the account, selecting the technology solutions best suited for the services, and negotiating contracts and fees.
  • Assist with the development of on-boarding and transition plans for new client integration, and develop best practice models for service delivery.
  • Manage client operations, staffing, hiring, training and development, and escalation of issues.
  • Ensure services are delivered in accordance with client agreement including monitoring the timing and quality of client deliverables, approve ad hoc client requests.
  • Establish, build and manage strong relationships and networks with intermediaries and internal contacts, assisting with new business enquiries and the implementation of new structures
  • Manage the integration and transfer of work from other offices and devise the best platform, including client delivery model for smooth transfer of the work
  • Review chargeable hours that the SSC teams have billed to other offices on a monthly basis and making sure that these are in line with agreed budgets
  • Training and coaching of employees to further develop their skills and giving feedback for learning
  • Responsible to ensure that employees are correctly charging their time to clients
  • Keeping abreast of new regulations in serviced jurisdictions and ensuring that these are implemented within the service delivery teams
  • Ensure that invoicing and time writing is carried out as per the formal process as laid down.
Education, Qualifications & Experience
  • Have a minimum 10 years experience in management and delivery of professional services, preferably legal but may be also audit/tax advisory;
  • Have worked with clients from across various regions and industries;
  • Experience with Big 4 (or similar) accounting firms or an international law firm an advantage;
  • Law degree or accounting qualification;
  • Flexible and well adept in dealing with various levels of Management;
  • Advanced knowledge of project management methodologies;
  • Good mentorship skills;
  • Willing to be permanently based in the Mauritius office.
