About the Opportunity
To achieve this goal, we are hiring a Customer Service Representative. This is a new position, so the role will be best suited for someone with a solid background in customer service who is excited about defining a new team and helping the company in bringing customer service in-house.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • You will ensure that needs and/or requirements considered critical to the success of these customers are communicated and managed throughout the Empire Solar Group Organization.
  • A significant part of your role will be to serve as a customer advocate, often functioning as a liaison between our customers and all internal Empire teams (e.g. Project Management, Customer Support, Installation, etc).
  • Ability to quickly grasp and distinctly explain technological and business concepts
  • Willingness to 'roll up one's sleeves' and assist wherever needed
  • Team player who will innovate to continue improving the way Empire Solar serves its customers
  • Take all incoming calls and transfer to necessary departments/individuals
  • Field all customer service calls for completed solar projects
  • Schedule techs to troubleshoot solar systems.
  • Other Assigned Duties
 
Experience
  • Outstanding phone etiquette
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a diverse set of internal and external constituencies including senior level executives, legal, technical, finance, sales and marketing experts
  • Have at least 2 years of customer service experience in a call center environment
  • Be extremely organized
  • Have strong attention to detail
  • Solar experience preferred, but not required
  • Prior leadership experience is a plus
  • Willingness to work in the fray while building out a new team

  • W2 full time
