  • As the Customer Experience Studio Project Manager, you are part of a Customer Experience team that creates experiences that touch millions of users across our digital platforms and multiple vehicle brands.
  • Your ability to manage others and multiple initiatives simultaneously in a highly dynamic environment with changing priorities and schedules will be crucial to our team’s success and our customer’s satisfaction.
 
  • The CX Project Manager will lead and facilitate the planning, execution, and transition of various CX design projects and programs.
  • Your day-to-day Program Management and process guidance skills will ensure that Customer Experience design activities and internal programs meet project scope, schedule, and quality expectations throughout the entire design life cycle.
  • The Project Manager will facilitate scope management, cost management, schedule management, stakeholder management, risk/opportunity management, resource management, communication management, and leadership activities.
 
Role and Responsibilities:
 
  • Describe program requirements, collaborates in the development of deliverables, supports the ongoing activities of work stream programs and identifies opportunities to leverage other product solutions.
  • Possess and utilizes widespread company knowledge. Understands the many roles throughout the organization and how different positions collaborate with one another. Utilizes that knowledge to drive process improvements, efficiencies, and better CX experiences.
  • Provides Design Ops manager with leadership assistance by supporting team problem solving and team workload management.
  • Consults with Program Management and Execution team members on pre-commitment project scoping.
  • Monitors project progress against the proposed plans including budgets, timelines, quality criteria and risk management.
  • Provides guidance and leadership to cross-functional delivery teams.
  • Proactively identifies or clarifies issues with live projects and makes recommendations to resolve issues.
  • Acts as an internal quality control check for all programs and projects to ensure they meet Cx Studio requirements
  • Proactively solves day-to-day problems and exercises good judgment not only in solving problems, but also in determining when to escalate issues within the organization.
  • Serves as an expert on their work stream best practices.
 
 
Required Skills and Experience
  • 6+ years of experience in creative services, production / project management, with an emphasis on software products.
  • Expertise with project management software (e. g., Jira, Microsoft Azure, MS Project)
  • Design team and / or Software engineering management experience managing project teams and leading creative execution
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and planning skills with the ability to translate design requirements to program execution partners
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills in risk/opportunity management
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic and tactical planning
  • Practical experience leading and influencing internal team members and external partners/stakeholders
  • Organized, extremely detail oriented and able to balance multiple priorities
  • Able to build strong, resilient relationships with stakeholders and be viewed as a partner
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Excellent analysis, problem-solving, team, interpersonal, negotiation, conflict management and time management skills
  • Proven capability to set clear expectations and manage team performance.
 
Education and Training
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Proven experience in multiple project management methodologies, e. g., SAFe, SCRUM, Agile, Six Sigma, Waterfall
  • Master’s Degree a plus
 
Work Site Description: 
  • Remote work, would like to have worker sit on the East Coast if not local to Metro Detroit
 
Preferred Work Schedule: 8-5pm
