Site Quality Control / Assistant Project Manager is an individual within the organization who is responsible for supporting the Project Manager

  • 3-5 years' work experience in the construction industry
  • Familiarity with Federal and/or Municipal Government Construction Procedures
  • Procore Experience strongly preferred
**SHORT TERM CONTRACT JOB**

The Site Quality Control / Assistant Project Manager is an individual within the organization who is responsible for supporting the Project Manager by providing on-site quality control reviews, coordination of submittals and assisting the Superintendent with overall project tracking, site management and subcontractor oversight. 
Project Management Support
  • Support and maintain a culture that values worker safety, production of quality work, and teamwork
  • Review and inspect work progress on-site for compliance and track all quality issues, corrections and reports
  • Regular quality review of all submittals, documentation and schedule tracking tools for compliance and accurate project controls
  • Document changes in project scope and coordinate team to ensure that the most current contract documents are being used at all times and red-line drawings are updated as needed.
  • Maintain files and logs for daily progress reports, accident reports, and pending change orders.
  • Assist in the preparation of documentation for client billings
  • Assist in the review and processing of subcontractor/supplier invoices
  • Assist in the preparation of written communications to the client, subcontractors or suppliers
  • Prepare, review and process submittals, including shop drawings, as required for the project
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years' work experience in the construction industry
  • Read and understand construction plans and specifications (preferred)
  • Familiarity with Federal and/or Municipal Government Construction Procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized
  • Proficiency or Advanced Skills with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), and ability to quickly master new construction industry software packages, such as Procore
