Power Careers LLC is confidentially seeking a seasoned technical salesperson or sales engineer looking to take their sales career to the next level.  Our client is a national company with offices throughout the US catering to the power engineering, power distribution equipment and the power services markets.
This outside sales position will have an assigned, multistate territory and be responsible for the growth and profitability of the territory.  This role will be home based with travel to client sites and the corporate office.  Travel will range between 30-50% and requires overnights as customer sites dictate.

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Maintaining and cultivating new customer accounts from prospecting through after-sales and support
  • Successfully executing customer-facing business strategies for companies’ products and services
  • Establishing sales performance goals and key metrics supporting the sales in the region
  • Directing short-term and long-range planning and budget development to support strategic business goals in the region
  • Serving as the front person and liaison between engineering, production and customer needs
  • High School diploma or equivalency with a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or Engineering. Experience may be considered in lieu of degree if candidates have a proven track record of successful sales in a power, construction, utility, electrical contractor, or related OEM provider.
  • At least 5 years sales experience working with technical apparatus and engineering services within the electrical, power, construction, utility, automation, data center or drives markets.
  • Must be literate in the Microsoft suite of office applications and experience with Salesforce a plus!
