As a FAC Account Producer you will be responsible for professionally quoting and binding policies for prospective business owners and farmers.

As a Farm & Commercial Account Producer you will be responsible for providing professional and exceptional service to prospective business owners and farmers during the quoting and binding process. You will be required to source new business opportunities and respond to inquiries and they come into our office. This includes but is not limited to Commercial Business including Fleet Insurance, Farm/Hobby Farms, contractors, retail, nonstandard, and hospitality. On the basis the above policies are the primary account, personal lines policies and Tractor Protect referrals can be also solicited and sold.
 
The Farm & Commercial Account Producer will work primarily in the Pelham office but will be required to work from other Duliban Insurance Branch Offices or visit client for appointments as required.
 
Primary Responsibilities
  • Professionally prospect, solicit, quote and bind new business
  • Utilize and update CRM and document in BMS all interactions
  • Receive incoming quote opportunities through incoming calls, on-line leads, and referrals
  • Solicit new leads and opportunities
  • Prepare proposals and visit clients as needed to prepare quotes and ensure appropriate coverage
  • Answer a wide range of Insurance coverage questions to business owners and farmers
  • Service new business accounts within the conclusion of the 2nd renewal term or as required to assist the service team. 
  • Mentor, help train and assist others in the department
  • Adhere to underwriting authority and brokerage guidelines
  • Conduct commercial evaluations on system for property policies and prepare detailed proposals of insurance
  • Complete and remit all new business applications to the insurance company
  • Respond to carrier requests for information
  • All other duties as required to support this growing area of the business

Qualifications Required
  • Minimum 3-5 years Insurance experience
  • Sales experience considered an asset
  • CAIB or progressing towards CAIB designation
  • RIBO License in good standing is required
 
Compensation
  • Will be a combination of Salary & 2-year Commission Structure.
