The Nurse will:
  • Plans, provides and/or supervises the nursing care of patients in an efficient and caring manner of the specified area of nursing.
  • Coordinates care planning with other caregivers and with other areas, adheres to universal precautions, and is compliant with infection control policies.
  • Works independently with minimal supervision in a team environment.

Telemetry Area:

Number beds: 33-beds
Patient Population: Adults
Case Type: monitored Tele and cardiac patients sometime on drips
Patient Guidelines: 6 to 1 Tele

ICU Area:

22 bends and they run between 12 and 22 throughout the year

IMC Area:

14 beds and they stay full

Qualifications
  • Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Must be a licensed RN with at least 3 years experience.
  • Telemetry candidates should have BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • ED candidates should have BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC.
Additional Info:
  • Hospital is a 168-bed hospital accredited by the JACHO certified and has a Level III Trauma Center.
  • They are an Accredited Chest Pain Center, Accredited Joint Replacement Center and Accredited Stroke Center.
  • They have excellent CNO and Nurse Directors and they offer an opportunity for someone to come into one area and then transfer/cross train to other disciplines of interest.
  • These positions are night shift(7pm-7am).
  • Position offers a competitive hourly wage and someone with 3 years experience would start at $32hr and goes up with experience.
  • There is $3hr shift diff during the week and an additional $2.50hr on the weekends.
  • Facility also offers relocation, sign-on/retention bonus and tuition reimbursement for ones that want to advance their degree.
