Responsibilities
- Responsible for the general ledgers for assigned properties, including monthly journal entries, income and expense accruals, expense recovery true‐ups and GAAP adjustments.
- Reconcile expense accounts for applicable portfolio.
- Assist property management teams with Tenant’s CAM Audits and A/R inquiries.
- Other duties as directed.
- Understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash receipts and lease administration functions of commercial real estate and how they drive the financial results of property operations.
- Ensure any analysis / work product is accurate, thorough and neat.
- Effectively work and communicate with other members of the Company to ensure established deadlines are being met in an efficient manner.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or related degree
- Advanced Excel capabilities a plus
- 3+ years of commercial property accounting experience
