About the Opportunity
Our Client is seeking passionate self-motivated individuals to introduce solar solutions to prospective residential consumers. This solar consultant role offers a highly competitive commission structure for achieving extremely attainable sales goals.  Does working in an industry that makes a difference get you excited? Key Responsibilities
The daily tasks for the Energy Consultant will include resulting leads given to the Energy Consultant on the company's CRM, communicating project milestones with customers, self-generating leads, attend either in person sales consultations or virtual sales consultation and attend weekly sales training, operational meetings, and weekly company end of week meetings.
  • Attend in house consultations with homeowners that would like to explore solar for their home
  • Keep an updated and organized CRM with leads and closed sales
  • Design and price out a solar system and then propose it to a customer
  • Keep an ongoing list of potential prospects on a weekly basis with a plan of how to convert them to a close
  • Maintain a solid knowledge base of local code requirements, products, roofing processes, solar installation practices, and industry norms.
  • Facilitate communications between customers and operations pertaining to scheduling accessibility, and special job needs through projects.
  • Achieve sales and margin goals.
Experience and Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1-year solar sales experience.
  • This successful candidate will have excellent people skills and be able to demonstrate the value of Solar Power for the Residential Homeowner.
  • Must be self-driven, highly motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Strong capability to close deals
  • Ability to work under stress to meet deadlines and quotas
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong presentation skills
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Must be a team player, and be able to handle a high volume of leads
  • Must have clean DMV, pre-employment background check, and drug screen
  • Based on experience plus uncapped commission
