Key Responsibilities
  • Be at LEAST a 2nd-year apprentice.
  • Be willing and able to climb a ladder and work on roofs.
  • Have a great attitude!
  • Work with Customer Service team to determine daily service call needs
  • Work with Residential projects
  • Troubleshoot Envoy’s, Electrical issues, panels, inverters and submit RMA replacement requests.
  • Exemplifies the standard of following the Safety Managers recommendations for safety in the field.
  • Back-office monitoring and troubleshooting through Enphase and other monitoring programs.
  • Assist in the management of material usage
  • Update and document cases in Dynamics as needed.
  • Assist Project Manager in the execution of critical actions for instances that come up while off site
  • All workmanship compliant with current NEC and local codes.
  • Trouble shooting system problems and resolving electrical issues •
  • Working with Project Managers and home owners to fulfill any necessary system upgrade/repairs to support our solar equipment
  • Work with local state/city inspectors to satisfy local building requirements and expectations
  • Interface with Electrical Manager to ensure compliance with ratios and continuing education
Experience and Qualifications
  • Current and valid State Electrical Journeyman or Master Card, Apprentice accepted as well
  • Able to perform advanced electrical calculations
  • Knowledge of 2014 and 2017 NEC, ability to navigate it
  • Understanding of wire, conduit sizing and how to make adjustments for environmental factors
  • Experience reading, interpreting one-line drawings and electrical schematics
  • Must have working knowledge and experience replacing electrical services and distribution panels
  • Must work well in a team environment and have strong communication skills
  • Must have a valid drivers license
  • Able to pass background check
  • W2 full time or part-time position.
