Marketers on Demand is on the hunt for a Senior Sales Executive, responsible for prospecting, and generating new leads, reporting into the Director of Sales. Our client is an innovative leader, who is looking for someone with experience in the food science sector.

Key Duties:
- Acquire new customers by negotiating and closing system sales deals with key clients in food processing 
- Ongoing research to identify suitable prospects using internal CRM system
- Client prospecting including but not limited to lead generation, cold outreach; re-engagement of inactive prospects
- Meeting with prospects in person to build rapport, educate and assess mutual fit
- Preparation and presentation of proposals communicating business case (financing, strategic) with adoption of all in house products 
- Building financial models to demonstrate return on investment 
Collaboration with internal colleagues in food science and engineering along with external bodies;
Extensive travel in North America and internationally

Must Haves:
- More than 5 years in a high performing sales position, ideally with experience in food processing (sustainability, food science and safety)
- Post Secondary Education with career advancement courses in sales techniques  
- Experience working within the Nutrition/Food Industry or similar sector is preferred 
- Connections within the Food Sector is highly beneficial for this role
