ABOUT THE ROLE
 
The Product Operations Manager is a critical member of the Product & Design team focused on accelerating and improving the quality of product development. This role will work very closely with various teams, including product management, engineering, user experience, marketing, sales, customer support and legal, etc. They will own, take the lead on implementing and continually enhancing strategic analyses, tools and processes to help improve the efficiency and efficacy of product development.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Own the Product Development Process, working across the various product and engineering portfolios to ensure a consistent and disciplined approach to building world-class products 
  • Help drive a cohesive product roadmap and ensure alignment with the long term strategy
  • Manage the Release Cycle for new products and features. Ensure proper coordination, communication, planning and alignment across Product, Engineering, Product Marketing, Sales, Client Success and Operations.
  • Establish regular cadence between Product and Revenue/Ops teams to communicate product objectives and gather feedback from internal stakeholders 
  • Collaborate with the product and design leadership to understand existing bottlenecks and develop new programs and processes to address
  • Own and monitor Product KPIs, constantly striving for clear and scalable metrics to measure success of their initiatives
  • Support and lead product research initiatives including direct client engagement and feedback, user experience research, market and competitive analyses and thesis formation to guide their overall product vision
  • Become a strong product expert across the suite of solutions to support the product teams by providing triage support and by ensuring user-facing teams are equipped with the necessary information to support new products
  • Manage the tools and best practices used by their product teams
  • Foster an environment of collaboration, partnership, customer focus, quality, excellence, urgency, accountability, continuous improvement, and innovation.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • You have 4+ years of experience in product operations, product management, or an operational role that worked closely with product and engineering teams, preferably in the SaaS/enterprise software industry
  • You have excellent project management skills and the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with people at all levels across the company
  • You love data and analytics and have a proven ability to analyze hard, loosely defined problems and turn that work into clear, actionable insights 
  • A strong self-starter with superior attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and prioritize and balance multiple requests, projects, and deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience at explaining highly technical topics to technical and non-technical audiences
  • You are passionate about delivering an amazing user experience and can develop a deep understanding of a complex product and its use cases
  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Excel, SQL strongly preferred
  • You have a track record of proactively managing end-to-end execution of projects and programs
